I have been a History Hound for as long as I can remember, a member of the Newmarket Historical Society and a local Genealogy enthusiast. Yes I would say that passionate is the word I would use to describe may relationship with our history!
This site is intended to be an archive of articles, photos, videos and oral history recollection relating to our history.
I plan to share many of the great stories that I learned growing up hearing then at family dinners and community gatherings. I look forward to receiving contributions from all those in the community who have a story to tell!
I can not remember a time when I was not fascinated by the study of history and specifically by the history of my town, Newmarket!
